Hello, lovely friends! I’m super excited to share this blog post with you! I’m still playing “catch-up”; this time I’m sharing my weekly spreads from April (plus one weekly spread from March!)
A while back, I had an idea to make weekly kits that focused on a certain color and an accompanying emotion. But as I was working on these kits, the emotional aspect sort of faded away and I focused more upon making kits with bold colors.
I decided to do it this way so that these kits could be more meaningful to the people that used them. Maybe the “Orange” kit speaks to you in a way that’s different than someone else–and that’s perfectly okay! Plus I didn’t exactly want to associate the colors with the emotions they’re typically associated with– for example, blue and sadness.
Since I’ll be featuring 7 weekly spreads in this post, I decided I would try to keep this post as short and sweet as I possibly could. If you guys are interested, I could create one post for each color where I share both #beforethepen and #afterthepen pics, and talk a little more about the inspiration and creative process behind making these kits. Let me know in the comments if you’d be interested in blog posts like that!
March 2018 – Week 4
Remember in my last post where I was sharing all my weekly spread for the month of March, how I didn’t include the last week of March? Well, here it is. I decided to save it for this post, so I could share all the weekly spreads that used kits from the “colors” series. I didn’t use every kit in the series, only 6 of them (plus a couple stickers from a 7th kit–you’ll see).
I knew I wanted to do something special to debut this series… so I decided to make a rainbow in my planner! First up in the rainbow is red, so I used the weekly kit “Red“! For more pictures, and to read more about this particular spread, check out this blog post!

May 2018 – Week 1
Woo-hoo! We finally made it to May! For this week, I used the kit “Purple“.
I used 7 different kits from the “Colors” series to create a super-awesome rainbow spread! You can read more about how I put that spread together in this post.
It’s important to point out that these aren’t the only kits from the colors series! There are 4 more kits from the series that I didn’t mention. They are “Black“, “Brown“, “Grey“, and “White“. I just didn’t use them in a weekly spread in my planner. Yet.
I know it’s nice to have links to all the kits mentioned in a blog post all in one place, so here it is! These are all the kits from the “Colors” series!
