Free Planner Printable: Stars & Stripes

Is anybody else a weirdo that peeks ahead in their planner and starts brainstorming how you’re going to decorate it weeks in advance? I’m still kinda in disbelief that it’s June now and not May anymore (Seriously! Last month just flew by!), so I thought it would be a good idea to peek ahead at July, because it will be here before we know it! The 4th of July is coming up, and I wanted to make a pretty printable kit to celebrate. I’m sharing it here on the blog a couple weeks early to give you guys plenty of time to print it out and stick it in your planner. 😊

Just looking at this printable gets me super excited for the 4th! Every year, I watch the fireworks with family or friends, usually attend a BBQ cookout (or 50 😂), and I always try to grab a funnel cake somewhere along the way, too! I gotta say, my favorite part about the 4th is spending it with family, and giving little commentary about the fireworks. We like to rate them (“That smiley face firework was upside down. 5/10.” 😂), point out our favorites, and share what we think they look like (“Okay, that one DEFINITELY looks like bees buzzing around!”). Well, that and the food. But I always love food! 🍔🍗🍻

Anyways. Back to the printable. Not sure how printables work? Once you get the hang of it, it’s easy peasy! Think of printables as DIY stickers! I recommend printing my printables on Avery 8.5″ x 11″ Shipping Labels. You can cut them out with a craft cutter machine (like a Silhouette or Cricut), with a paper trimmer, or with scissors! Don’t have sticker paper? Not a problem! Print it out on regular 8.5″ 11″ printer paper (sometimes called copy paper), and use a glue stick to stick it in your planner. The font used in the header of the printable announcement pic is called Beyond the Mountains by StereoType. I found all other images with an image search.
