“Colors” Series (April 2018 Weekly Spreads)

Hello, lovely friends! I’m super excited to share this blog post with you! I’m still playing “catch-up”; this time I’m sharing my weekly spreads from April (plus one weekly spread from March!)

A while back, I had an idea to make weekly kits that focused on a certain color and an accompanying emotion. But as I was working on these kits, the emotional aspect sort of faded away and I focused more upon making kits with bold colors.

May 14-20 Weekly Spread

Hello, lovely friends! I’m super excited to share this week’s spread with you! If you’re following me on Instagram, then you’re familiar with my “Colors” series I’ve recently released in my Etsy shop!

A while back, I had an idea to make weekly kits that focused on a certain color and an accompanying emotion. But as I was working on these kits, the emotional aspect sort of faded away and I focused more on making kits with bold colors.

Washi Wednesday [6.7.17]

This week for Washi Wednesday, I tried to pick out washi tape that matched with my Lisa Frank theme in my planner. In a perfect world, I would use real Lisa Frank washi tape, but I don’t think it even exists. Which is a tragedy. I would buy so many rolls of that washi… So anyways, I did the best I could with bold colors and rainbows… and thought I’d have a little fun and throw some glittery poop emoji washi in there, too!

June 5-11 Weekly Spread

Did anybody else used to get excited for back-to-school supplies shopping? Every year, I remember begging my mom to get me Lisa Frank binders, folders, notebooks, and of course stickers. I loved the the unicorns, aliens, and cats the most. And whenever any of her girls had red hair, because I always thought it looked like me.

I don’t really remember when exactly stores stopped carrying Lisa Frank stuff. Maybe by that point I had gotten a little older and I didn’t really go school supplies shopping anymore. All I know is that somewhere along the way, stores stopped selling Lisa Frank products and this was a terrible, terrible tragedy.

This week, in the bottom margin on the right page was a quote that read “daydreaming is a mandatory daily exercise”. That quote and my love and appreciation for Lisa Frank were my inspiration for this week’s spread!
